India women became the first team to score 400 in an ODI innings as they chased down 347 against Ireland Women on 1st April 2026. The highlight of the innings was Amelia Kerr’s 232 not out.
Her knock set a new record for the Highest Women’s Odi Score, surpassing Belinda Clark’s 229 not out for Australia against Denmark at the same venue almost 20 years earlier.

Deepti Sharma’s 188
Deepti Sharma smashed 188 not out against Ireland women in the Quadrangular Series 2017 to join an elite list of just three other female cricketers to score 2000 runs and take 150 wickets in WODIs. Sarah Taylor (West Indies), Ellyse Perry (Australia) and Marizanne Kapp (South Africa) are the only other players to achieve this feat.
Sharma’s knock was a valiant effort as India were put in to bat first after winning the toss. Amelia Kerr bowled well to claim four wickets in nine overs, including the crucial scalp of India stand-in captain Smriti Mandhana for just five. However, Sharma led the charge for the home side with her unbeaten century.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s 143
Harmanpreet Kaur was India’s top scorer as they chased 260 against Australia. Mithali Raj’s departure in the 25th over meant she had to step up, and she did. Her first six came off Kristen Beams in the 27th over – a lovely languid swing going waay over long-on.
Her next came off Jess Jonassen when she dragged a delivery down leg side, which could have had her stumped. But Kaur showed incredible footwork to readjust, and slapped the ball into fine leg for four. That brought her closer to a century. It was a match-changing innings and her highest WODI score ever.
Pratika Rawal’s 154
The highest individual score in a women’s One Day International (ODI) match is 232 not out, made by Amelia Kerr for New Zealand against Ireland in Dublin on 13 June 2018. At the time, it was the highest score in a women’s ODI and the first double century since Belinda Clark achieved a similar feat for Australia against Denmark in Mumbai, India on 29 January 1997 – almost three years before Kerr was born.
Pratika Rawal became the third Indian woman to reach 150 in an ODI match, after Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur. She took 154 runs off 129 balls in the first innings of India’s World Cup 2025 final victory over South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
She credited the performance to her conversations with Shafali Verma, who replaced her in the semi-final and final due to injury. They had spoken about how she needed to do something special and she did that.
Smriti Mandhana’s 135
Smriti Mandhana’s scintillating performance against New Zealand helped her move up to the top of the ICC Women’s ODI rankings. She has scored two centuries and eight half-centuries in 15 matches this year. She has moved ahead of Australia’s Ellyse Perry and former India skipper Meg Lanning.
The dynamic opener smashed the fastest ever century in W-ODI cricket by an Indian, blasting 12 boundaries and seven sixes. She shared a record opening partnership of 155 with Pratika Rawal and led the Women in Blue to a massive total.
Smriti Mandhana has now crossed 5,000 runs in ODIs, becoming only the second Indian player to achieve this milestone. The 29-year-old is just 12 runs away from breaking Belinda Clark’s record for the most runs in a calendar year by an Indian, adding another remarkable achievement to the history of the Highest Women’s ODI Score.
