1. Kaelon Black
Born October 17, 2001… Received his bachelor’s degree at Indiana… Appeared in 56 games (16 starts) over six seasons between James Madison (2024-2025) and Indiana (2023-23)… Totaled 3,123 all-purpose yards including 23 touchdowns (17 rush, 1 receiving).
Salem (VA) High School Class of 2024 Black is an undersized but powerful running back who can quickly break through defenses with his strength and physicality, but may lack ideal burst or quickness in open field situations.
His foot stays heavy on the gas pedal upon impact and often falls forward without seeking cutting lanes to gain additional yards. In run defense he provides above-average power as a willing blocker.
As part of his first season at Indiana, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry and amassed 975 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. His first 100-yard game came at Maryland on 11/1 with 110 yards and one score. 2. Elijah Sarratt

In 2024, he recorded first down or score on 43 of 53 receptions he made and tied for the conference lead in receiving touchdowns with Omar Cooper Jr. (9). 3. Isaiah Jones
Last season as a sophomore, Jones played just 178 defensive snaps and collected 42 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss. Now as a redshirt junior he has become one of the cream and blue’s premier linebackers; one who can reliably patrol both backfields and fill spaces in the box.
Jones went the extra mile against Iowa City on special teams. When Iowa failed to convert on a fourth and 7 early in the third quarter, Indiana forced a punt and Jones returned it 83 yards for his first blocked kick of his career.
Jones has shown his formidable tackling and pass-rushing abilities all season. In Indiana’s Week 4 victory against Illinois, their top linebacker made two tackles-for-loss and registered one sack, stopping Kaden Feagin before he could even reach his second read. It was an eye-opening performance that caught the attention of Memorial Stadium fans and national television audiences alike.
